foggy.

I've heard that it's possible to see the entire city from atop this mountain, but that was not the case on this foggy day.

goodbye, autumn.

Fall has begun to fade, Christmas has already crept forward, and here I am caught in a daze between seasons.  Why does each year seem to slip through my fingers faster and faster?  I don't want to say goodbye to autumn quite yet, but I suppose there isn't anything I can do except welcome winter with a cheerful heart and a smile on my face.

pretty pictures + an entirely unrelated sentence

Murder is a sin because the bible says "You shall not murder." (Deuteronomy 5:17) so doesn't this mean that worry is a sin since the bible says "Do not be anxious about anything" (Phillipians 4:6)?

ps. my model in the photos above is my dear friend emily.

bonfires.

It's basically all I do this time of year.  & I'm okay with that.

pearly whites.

After four years of braces, i finally got them off!  i seriously can not stop smiling.  also, i bought a massive sweater from goodwill and i love it so much.  this cold weather came so suddenly, but i'm not complaining!
okay i just realized that there's a random hair chillin' on my shoulder in those top two photos and its really bothering me now.

that 'on fire' feeling.

You know that feeling you get when you're so close to God you just want to shout his name to the ends of the earth?  that 'on fire' feeling.  i love that feeling.  & every time i hear this song i'm reminded of that feeling. i'm reminded that i need to have that feeling every single day.  God wants us to shout his name to the ends of the earth.  so why don't we?

much love,

sweater weather.

you don't even know how excited i am that fall is here.  i love the change of seasons.  can you imagine how boring it would be if the weather stayed the same all year long and never changed?  i wouldn't be able to stand it very long.  anyways, i thrifted these giant sweaters the other day and i've been wearing them all week.  happy october!

much love,
lynn
